Sliding Scale
I understand that therapy can be a significant financial investment, and I believe that cost shouldn't be a barrier to healing. I offer a limited number of slots at a reduced rate for clients with financial need. This is based on a sliding scale that considers your income and other life circumstances. Please feel free to ask me more about sliding scale fees.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment is due at the time of service. I accept all major credit cards and HSA cards. You can manage your payment information securely through the client portal.
What is a Superbill?
If I am out of network with your insurance a superbill is used for possible reimbursement. A superbill is a document that I provide to you after each session. It has all the information your insurance company needs for you to get reimbursed for our services. You submit the superbill to your insurance, and they send the reimbursement directly to you.
- Pay for Your Session: You pay the full fee for our therapy session at the time of service.
- Receive a Superbill: I will provide you with a detailed superbill, which is an itemized receipt containing all the information your insurance company needs.
- Submit to Insurance: You submit this superbill directly to your insurance provider. You can usually do this through their online portal, by mail, or by fax.
- Get Reimbursed: Your insurance company will process the superbill and, if applicable, send a reimbursement check directly to you. The amount of reimbursement depends on your specific plan's out-of-network benefits.
